Students Ministry

St. Andrew’s Student Ministry serves 6th-12th graders. We partner with and help resource families to make disciples of our youth, aiming, through our time spent together in worship, prayer, Bible study, mission, and fellowship, to grow into the likeness of Christ.

Each year we typically have a Summer Trip, mission projects, and fun trips and outings throughout the year. We train liturgical acolytes to serve at Morning Prayer and Holy Communion, and run a yearly Confirmation Class for 8th graders wishing to be confirmed in the summer.

It is our hope and the aim of all that we do “that according to the riches of his glory God may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:16-21)

For those of you whom I have not yet met, my name is Garrison Anderson, and I am taking over the Youth Ministry at Saint Andrew's.

Anglican FAQs

We have begun a new series entitled Anglican FAQs, in which we answer questions about our beliefs as Anglicans and why what we do is important. I would encourage everyone to bring a Bible (We do have some in the Youth Room if you don't have one), and something to write with/on.

(This also serves as an "Intro to Confirmation" class, so if your kiddo is wanting to be confirmed this spring, we recommend attending!)
