A story told through instruments readings, and choral music to prepare your heart for the coming of the Christ child. This is a service of Scripture and song that dates to the late 19th century.  We listen to Scripture lessons which recount the Fall, the promise of a Messiah, the Incarnation, and the Great Commission to preach the Good News.  Each lesson is followed by a carol or other song that reflects on the lesson's message and a brief prayer.

December 24th 5:30 PM in the church

A service similar to Evening Prayer for all ages. During the service children are invited to bring forward very simple gifts to the crèche at the time of the offertory. The gifts should be unwrapped and appropriate for a boy or girl age infant to 12. Any small gifts are appropriate. After Christmas, these items will be taken to the Union Gospel Mission and used as year-round incentive and birthday gifts for the children who reside at The Family Center. In this way, children are symbolically presenting gifts to the Christ Child Himself. A nursery will be provided.

Celebrate Holy Communion and the arrival of our Savior with choir and scripture. Ponder His birth inspiring awe and joy in the candlelight of the church. The service will end in candlelight.
