"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10).
In keeping with our Parish Mission Statement to disciple every believer, equip and empower every member for ministry and spread God’s kingdom through charitable, righteous works locally and globally, St. Andrew’s leaders continually encourage all parishioners as a key part of their discipleship to discover God's special purpose and calling for our lives. Help is available to match your calling and gifts with meaningful outreach and serving opportunities. We can also assist in developing new ministry opportunities based on your interests and passions. And resources like the S.H.A.P.E. course and other materials are available to help you discover your gifts, passion, abilities, personality and experience.
Opportunities abound for ministry and service at St. Andrew's across the broad spectrum of Parish Life. Please email Debbie directly to learn more about serving opportunities and ways to plug into Parish life. You may also contact Nancy Komatsu for resources to explore your God-given design or to connect with mission and outreach in the community.
For those new to our parish, as well as longtime members, Rally Day in September is one of the best ways to learn more about St. Andrew’s many ministries and serving opportunities, both within and beyond our walls. See our web pages to learn more about parish outreach and our local and global Ministry & Mission Partners. For some examples of the diverse ways parishioners have found to express God's call on their lives, read "How Is God Calling You?", offering encouragement to consider how the Lord may be calling you to serve Him. Join us in serving the Lord at St. Andrew's and beyond!
