San Miguel Easter Outreach

Continuing to Celebrate the Easter Season

April 29 | 11AM -4PM

Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us. -I John 4:10-12

We are called as Christians to love one another, to serve one another, to be the evidence of Christ’s love in this world.

Three Serving Opportunities:

St. Andrew’s will provide a light lunch of sandwiches, chips and cookies.

1.   Provide sandwiches, cookies or chips for the lunch.

2.   Come help with serving food from noon until 2PM.

3.   Come sit down and share a meal with our neighbors.

For details and to participate, please contact Judy Mayo or call 817-717-1023 or 817-988-8170.

It is a great joy to report that our Lenten mite box offering this year, benefiting Iglesia San Miguel, was an all-time high.  Your generosity will be a tremendous help to the mission congregation. A check will be presented to Canon Sergio Diaz, the dedicated vicar of San Miguel, at this festival and Easter outreach event.

Many thanks to all in our congregation who participated in this very worthwhile project!

There are many different ways parishioners of St. Andrew’s serve our community and across the globe. The Mite Box is an example of just one. Our neighbors at Iglesia San Miguel work hard to serve their neighborhood and to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ, and you are with them in this work through your generous gifts to the mite box ministry.

We do not need to travel across the world to find God’s work. God provides labor for all who have the eyes to see and the heart to respond. The burden is light because Christ is here with us every day, multiplying our efforts and transforming not just our lives but the lives of so many others. Let us all thank God for this generous outpouring of love. Discover the opportunities to honor Jesus’ final commandment to us the night before He was to be crucified, “to love one another as He has loved us.”
