Welcome to St. Andrew’s

St. Andrew’s is a welcoming community where the hand of Christian fellowship extends out to offer all a place to grow in Christ. Founded in 1875, St. Andrew's is a 1928 Prayer Book church located in the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth. The 1910 building is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful churches in the Southwest, a truly inviting and holy space for worship and prayer. Yet the true heart of the church is not the building, but its people. St. Andrew’s is a biblical church that stands faithfully and obediently under the authority of Holy Scripture. Great emphasis is placed on Christian education for all ages as the knowledge of God’s Word is essential in the Christian life.

Here is a space to worship the Living God, where all are encouraged to explore God’s call and purpose in their lives. Here is a place to find other sojourners on the journey of faith.

  • Core Values

    Traditional Worship

Traditional Worship and music in a reverent, "low-church" style, using the 1928 Book of Common Prayer. "O come, let us sing unto the LORD; let us heartily rejoice in the strength of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving; and show ourselves glad in him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God; and a great King above all gods" (Psalm 95: 1-3). Se the worship schedule

    Biblical Foundation

Biblical, Christ-centered preaching for all members from cradle to grave. "For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ" (I Corinthians 3:11). Listen to a sermon.

    Ministry and Mission

Enthusiastic support of the Great Commission through local and foreign mission partners. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19).

    Church Family

As members of the body of Christ we seek to know, love and support one another. "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another" (John 13:34-35).
